Overview
DWM Album collects the photos guests take at a wedding or event in one place. The host signs in with an emailed code, makes an album with a folder for each function (mehndi, nikah, walima), picks one of six QR card designs and prints it as a table card, sign or poster. Free albums hold 50 photos; there's no online payment, so a bigger album is something the host asks me for.
Guests scan the card with their phone camera, type their name once and pick photos from their gallery. The phone shrinks each photo before it uploads, iPhone HEIC included, and the server removes location data and other metadata. The host sees every photo as it arrives, can hide or delete any of them, approve them before other guests can see them, close uploads or add a password, run a full-screen slideshow on a TV, and save the album to a phone or as a ZIP. It takes photos only for now, not videos.
